Advantages
  • Superior to basic NBR
  • Excellent physical strength and retention of properties after long-term exposure to heat, oil and chemicals
  • Good ozone and water resistance
  • Can be compounded to allow broad temperature range (from -30°C to 160°C)
Disadvantages
  • Low tensile properties
  • Not recommended for use with ketones, esters/ethers and aromatic fuels
