Clwyd was approached to help develop a new compound for a specialist application for nuclear submarines, we worked very closely with the project team and the new material was developed meeting both the specification required and the processing requirements, with the development coming in time and under budget.

The development was that successful that the project won the Silver Award; the awards are internal to the company however, due to the support Clwyd had delivered throughout the project the Technical Director was invited to the awards ceremony in London to receive the award.
