Clwyd Compounders’ response to the proposed PFAS ban
Clwyd Compounders are the UK’s leading FKM and FFKM compounder and have now put forward their points of view on the proposed ban on PFAS.
Whilst we fully support the ban of short chain PFAS of concern which are the chemicals that pose toxicological and/or environmentally adverse effects, we also strongly oppose the inclusion of fluoropolymers in the proposed ban.
Our technical team is focused on being able to provide our customers with FKM/FFKM compounds which do not contain any residual fluoro surfactant PFAS.
