Compound development:- CCL Technologists will develop a rubber compound to your specification, or help you develop a preparation to meet end use requirements, based on expected performance.

The compound will also be developed with the method of manufacture in mind such as injection molding, extrusion or calendaring.

They can provide detailed advice to help you overcome processing problems, for example optimum cure time and temperature, the most suitable mould release for a particular compound and advice on tooling.

CCL have invested in sophisticated analytical equipment such as Thermal Gravametric Analiser (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC).  The equipment enables our Technologists to identify unknown compounds and determine chemical reactions such as cure and glass transition.

Another important service offered is unbiased and impartial advice on material selection. CCL will recommend the best polymer for the job, which offers the best value for money.
